About Restructure Partners

Restructure Partners is an Australian information and referral service for company directors facing financial distress. We help company directors under financial pressure understand their options — director penalty notices, ATO debt, small business restructuring, voluntary administration and liquidation — in plain English. Enquiries go to our partner firm, H&H Tax and Business Advisors, whose advisers can involve an ASIC-registered practitioner where a formal appointment is needed. Our guidance is reviewed by Alex Hanley, a Chartered Accountant.

What we do

Facing mounting debt, an ATO notice, or a director penalty notice is stressful and time-pressured — and most of the information available is either too technical or too salesy to be useful when you actually need it. Restructure Partners exists to give directors a clear, calm and confidential starting point: what a notice means, what your realistic options are, the deadlines that apply, and what happens next.

Where a formal step is required — appointing a Small Business Restructuring practitioner, a voluntary administrator, or a liquidator — those roles are carried out by ASIC-registered practitioners. Restructure Partners does not itself carry out formal insolvency appointments, and neither does H&H; our role is to provide general information and pass your enquiry to H&H, whose advisers can involve a registered practitioner when one is needed.

How we work with H&H Tax and Business Advisors

Restructure Partners works closely with H&H Tax and Business Advisors. H&H advisers may point clients dealing with mounting debt, ATO arrears, cash-flow pressure or director penalty notices to the guides on this site to help them understand their options.

We believe in being upfront about how we work. For a full explanation of Restructure Partners, our relationships, and how referrals operate, see our Disclosure.

How the process works

  1. Reach out. Call or submit a short, confidential enquiry — it goes directly to our referral partner, H&H Tax and Business Advisors.
  2. An H&H adviser helps you understand your situation. In plain English: what your notice or debt means, your options, and the deadlines that matter. This is general information to help you get oriented.
  3. Where a formal pathway is appropriate, the adviser can involve an ASIC-registered practitioner. Restructure Partners receives a referral fee from H&H when an enquiry we pass on leads to an engagement.

There’s no obligation, the conversation is confidential, and there’s no judgment.

Australia-wide and confidential
